Moodboard
Sketches - Initial plan.
Urban Shared Garden - The sunflower (UK)
The idea is to create an urban courtyard space 12m x 18m shared by 2 flats. In my moodboard the ambiance is a reflection on the sunflower as a central attraction in the garden, for both owners. It will be placed in background, surrounded by boxes in permaculture as a kitchen garden as a commun area. These urban courtyard of 12m x 18m is an urban shared garden, by 2 flats. 2 benches will be facing a wall sprout. Inspired by the painting
“The Sunflower” painted in 1907 by the Austrian Art Nouveaux and Modernist painter, Gustav Klimt
a planting area is created as seen in the RHS Wisley gardens visited in october 2020. The planting area is made of green, yellow and brawn, as the dress of the sunflower as Klimt represented it is in painting, in a similar way of the planting beds in Wisley that inspire-me, as the benches in wood. On my a3 presentation below the moodboard is a synthesis of the ambiance I want to give to the garden. The fountain is also inspired by RHS Wisley gardens.
Bees will be introduce in the garden as a gardian of biodiversity. Boxes will contain Salvia & Tropaeolum majus.
A Ginkgo biloba was selected for theses gardens.
